Does my skin suffer because of the mask? Discover how you should take care of your skin to tackle maskné

The mandatory use of the mask has been part of our daily lives for months now. And so have the cutaneous alterations they are causing on the skin, colloquially known as maskné. In the vast majority of cases it does not go beyond the looking not very aesthetic part and doesn’t degenerate into more serious issues. However, it’s very important to pay attention to our skin and switch up our beauty routine if it is necessary.

Why does maskné appear?

The use of the mask causes a clogging of the lower area of our face, which generates an increase in the temperature of our skin due to the continuous warm air from the mouth on the face. This results in increased sweating, pimples (acne, rosacea), redness or oilier skin (seborrheic dermatitis).

To treat maskné we must use products with light textures and free of excess grease, such as our Green Line range. The serum and cream in this line are two cosmeceuticals that work on the different layers of the skin and that is the reason why we recommend including both products in your daily routine.

This line of products is made of a formulation patented by our laboratories, that provides the perfect balance for our face. Both products of our Green Line incorporate natural ingredients that are antioxidant, nourishing and anti-inflammatory. These are important elements for the balance of our skin, that have become essential with daily mask use.

1st step – Serum Super Green Concentrate

Our Green Line serum is a product with a high concentration of active ingredients, so applying 2 – 4 drops will be enough. It provides a sensation of elasticity, hydration and softness and is quickly absorbed without leaving any oily traces.

How do we apply the Super Green Concentrate serum?

Our recommendation is that you apply it morning and night, always with clean and dry skin and before applying the cream. The serum should be spread on the face, neck and neckline, starting with small touches and in ascending circular movements.

The Serum Super Green Concentrate is formulated with the Hechy Complex, composed of hemp seed oil (anti-inflammatory and nourishing), rosemary oil (antioxidant) and avocado oil (which illuminates the skin and eliminates dead cells), combined with chia oil (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and nutritious).

It’s a product with great penetrating power that helps repair the skin from the inside and to its deepest layer. For optimal results, we recommend applying the cream after the serum.

2nd step – Stress Repair Moisturizer

Our facial routine must always incorporate a cream that hydrates and nourishes the skin from the outside. Our Stress Repair Moisturizer is also anti-pollution and is especially indicated for damaged skin. It’s quickly absorbed and acts on the epidermis, the outermost layer of the skin, helping to reduce water loss.

How should we apply the cream?

Apply a thin layer on the face, neck and neckline 2 times a day with a light massage, after the Serum Super Green Concentrate.

If we apply it daily, we will reduce irritation, redness and excessive sebum production. Like the serum from the same range, it contains Hechy Complex with niacinamide, as well as hemp seed oil and Squalane, a natural emulsifier derived from olives, which provides softness by reducing imperfections and improving elasticity and hydration.

Benefits of the Stress Repair Moisturizer

This vegan cream brings well-being to the skin and regulates the macrobiota, which is the set of microorganisms that make up the skin. It also helps to maintain and/or restore its biodiversity and balance. Our cream also protects from UV rays and blue light from screens, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while rebalancing facial tone.

Our Green Line is dermatologically tested and suitable for all skin types.
